Horrendous Worship

hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done
abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good” (Psalm 53:1).

Professors of Theology from different Universities in the United
States of America (USA) in the 1960s, proclaimed the “death of God”.
Actually, they were echoing the views of Fredrich Nietzsche, a 19th
Century German philosopher, who earlier proclaimed the “death of God”.
Incidentally, Nietzsche ended his life and career in a psychiatrist
hospital due to insanity.
Progressively, in his search for happiness, pleasure and leisure, man has propounded many theories and hypotheses to consign God to the dustbin. If there is no God, then the Bible, the Word of God, is a distraction. In effect, no divine guide for morality. Then, man is free to express in him. Science and philosophy had been in the vanguard of the anti-God rebellion. Lately, modern brands of Christianity have also joined the bandwagon.
The careless and indulgent lifestyles of “Christians” today proclaim more loudly than the atheists, the “death of God”. Daunting trends in homosexuality, lesbianism, adultery, fornication, occultism, hypocrisy and fraud, flowing from the pulpits to the pews in churches are clearly indicative of the rejection of many of the reality of heaven and hell.
People just go through the motions of worship services merely just to “fulfil all righteousness.” Despite the cacophony of “noisy worship sub-culture and feverish denial of the existence of God, the fact remains that our God reigns! Those who say He is no more by their disposition will eventually find time to die and face His Judgement.
