LIVING BY HIS WORD
"And
Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word of God." (Luke 4:4)
The
question here is, why is it that man shall not live by bread alone,
but every word that comes out of the mouth of God? The answer is that
the devil you are dealing with is not afraid of you. The devil is
only afraid of the Word of God inside of you. There is power in that
Word. When you know the Word of God and you learn how to speak it,
the devil will give way. If you are sick, the devil is not afraid of
drugs and injections but the Word of God. When you speak the Word of
God over that sickness, the devil will give way.
In Ezekiel
37, when God asked, "Can
these bones live?"
Ezekiel answered, "O
Lord God, thou knowest."Then,
God said to him, "Prophesy
upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of
the LORD."The
dry bones in your life may not listen to you, your family, your
father, etc., but every dry bone in your life will listen to the Word
of God. The problem in your business, marriage may not listen to you
but it will listen and respond to the Word of the Lord. Ezekiel did
not say dry bones; hear what scientists said, or what the doctors
said, he said, dry bones, "Hear
the word of the Lord."
That is why you must live by the word of God.
After
Ezekiel said it, there was a noise, a shaking, and the bones came
together.
Whatever
dry bones exist in your life, body, destiny, Children, spouse etc.,
the Word of the Lord that will heal it. The Word of the Lord sets
captives free. The Word of the Lord binds demons. The Word of the
Lord is above every word and the name of Jesus, every name.
If you are
facing temptation in your office, school, life, family, wherever,
that temptation will bow to the Word of the Lord. Find out what God's
Word says about your case, call whatever you are facing by name and
command it to hear the Word of the Lord. Your issue is real but your
victory is sure.
PRAYER/CONFESSION:
You my
situation (call it by name), hear ye the Word of the Lord, God will
make a way of escape for me out of you; I am called according to
God’s purpose and everything works together for my good. Therefore,
I command you to bow to God’s Word and yield only positive results
for me, in Jesus name.
